Bottle 0.33l from El Grifo, Tulum. Cloudy, gold amber colored. AROMA- fermented, malt, grain, honey, touch of apple, walnuts, pleasant alcohol. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, lightly bitter, a bit warming, malt, grain, honey, touch of caramel, touch of apple, alcohol, touch of noble hops. Fuller bodied. Good.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Clear copper gold with off white head. Bready malt with a touch of metallic-ness, hint of honey sweetness, mild alcohol. Seems to have potential, but presumably lacks shelf life (or the batches are just inconsistent).

33cl stubby pours a clear dark gold, white head. Big corn nose, malt, treacle, honey. Flavor has corn and honey mostly, golden raisin. Finishes nearly full bodied. I tell ya, doesn't drink like 8%.

Fiebre de Malta, CDMX tap: pours nitro head over clear gold body. Grainy and lightly fruity. Taste is sweet with low bitterness. Fairly easy to drink. Not huge flavor. Meh.

330 mL stubby bottle poured, picked up in Playa Del Carmen. A unique style from what I expected during my visit, so I knew this bottle needed to come home with me. A mostly clean, oily golden pour. Honestly, this is better than I expected based on style and origin combined.. Drinks smoothly. Cool front, soft bready grains.some banana bread, and a hint of bran. Soft but still flavorful. Enjoyable enough.

Bottle - Raw grains and a touch of skunk. Clear gold with a decent white head. A touch metallic and bitter grains. Alcohol comes through as heat in the finish.
