12 ounce can. Deep cola brown with a small lacey beige head. Interesting spicy roasted malt aroma. Obvious notes of cumin and coriander are there. First sip brings a cacauphony of flavors. Dark roasted malt, roasted beets, scorched almonds, tea berry, coriander, cumin and dark dried fruits. Amazingly complex, with unusual botanical tendencies. And yes, the 12% ABV shows its bad self about midway through. Sip this slowly and enjoy. It's the real deal. Quack... Quack!

Can thanks to Toastedpuppy. Clear copper red with small creamy beige head, caramel-nutmeg aroma, low carbonation, spicy (ginger, nutmeg, cloves) caramel taste, smooth thick body, long spicy finish. A real winter warmer, gave me a very nice warmth inside!

Location: Draft at Eleven Madison Park, 6/15/13, Rating #3100
Aroma: The nose is heavy malts, some dark fruit, plenty of pepper/spice, and yeast
Appearance: The pours is a dark brown color with a lighter colored brown head
Flavor: The taste is a little sweet, peppery, and heavy matly, with dark fruit, spice, and booze
Palate: The body is fairly full and it has a good amount of heat from the ABV
Overall Impression: I found this one to be fairly tasty. its definitely a sipper, as the strength and ABV are quite noticeable, but it is a good beer none-the-less.
