A bottle at home after winding down from opening Patriots game. Hazed orange pour. Nose is hoppy pine and melon. Tastes of honey dew, resin, dank weed, pine, grass, nd yeast. Overly flavorful for a pils. Pleasant brew

Location: Bottle at the Cue Nine, 10/28/14

Aroma: It has a solid, light, clean hop aroma, some pine and citrus, and some pale malts
Appearance: Pours a clear orange color with a decent amount of head and some average lace
Flavor: The flavor is much the same, balance between the malty sweetness and medium bitterness
Palate: The body of this one is light-medium, it has a solid mouthfeel, and a slightly dry finish
Overall Impression: I found this to be a solid, drinkable IPL. It has a nice enough flavor and a solid mouthfeel. Nothing special, but still pretty enjoyable.

Bottle in NYC - picked up at Top Hops. Pours clear burnt gold with a frothy white head. Nicely hoppy aroma with some orange, pine, toasted biscuits, grass. Light-medium sweet flavor with sun-kissed grassy bitterness, toasted grains, pale bread, pine, ripening citrus fruits, mild earth. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish with some toasty grains and bread, orange rind, mellow pine. Solid.

Some overpriced Bodega is Turtle Bay: Pours golden orange with a white head. Aroma is lightly citrus hops and tropical fruit. Taste is pretty subdued. It was not as hoppy as I excepted. I thought it would be more of an IPL, but this was just a run of the mill lager with some more hops.

Bottle. Rich yellow-orange with off-white spongy head, sharp hops aroma, balanced hoppy taste which vanishes quickly, low carbonation, rather abrupt finish. Nice brew.
