Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty again with strong caramel notes, leading to a bitter end, that also as a twang of metal.

(On tap) Clear orangey brown with a dense, creamy, off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of burned caramel, fruit, nuts and port. Quite full-bodied, notes of burned caramel and some odd candy-like accents - or cookies perhaps. Lightly burned malt finish with some bitterness. Quite decent but not entitrely clean. 140508 (Plastic bottle 25 cl) Courtesy of Hildigöltur. Clear, orangey brown with a small, off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt and nuts. Medium body with notes of nuts and burned caramel. Rather bitter finish. 6/35/3/11=2.8 080307
