Draft at Rattle’n’Hum. Dark brown color with tan spongy big head, bitter coffee taste, average carbonation, slight doughy aroma, abrupt finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Canard Noir on 02 Feb 2013 at 16:51 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 3 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7. A deep dark brown ale with a thin brown head. In aroma, a lightly spiced and herbal caramel, with light ginger notes. In mouth, a rather strange mix of chocolate, light coffee and sugar, a bit thin, not what was expected. On tap at Rattle’n’Hum, Sept 21, 2012.

Tap @ The Stag’s Head, NYC. Nice head with good duration. Color is dark brown. Aroma and taste are dried fruits, yeast, candy sugar, caramel and hops.

Tap at the stags head. Pours black I had no idea what this was based on the name I was not thinking porter with Belgian yeast. U get fruity Belgian yeast, roasted malt, chocolate, and earthy bitterness. Pretty tasty
