This was a great smoked ale! The aroma was super smoky with lots of bacon, sausage, and hickory. I loved it! A good smoked is like a meal on its own!

Reddish brown color, light tan foamy small head, smoky aroma, slightly bitter burnt coffee flavor, medium carbonation, long finish. A reddish copper ale with a thin moka head. Predominating butterscotch aroma, with herbal notes, wood extract in finale. In mouth, a good smokyness with fusel, wood extract, sweet caramel malt, a bit thin but good. On tap at C’est What, May 21 2011.
