Clear gold with a white head. Lightly smokey and sweet grain, and the stuff they put on puke in a bar...but in a good way (never thought I’d write that) in the aroma. Medium body. Flavor is smoked ham, salty, a bit sweet, and light malts. Not all that smoky overall. This could be a good gateway beer for people who haven’t been introduced to smoked beers. Not a great beer, but it is interesting.

Picked up in Istanbul. Pours a clear ambery color. Topped with an average white head. The aroma is not strong but pleasantly smokey. The taste also slightly smokey with a moderate bitterness. Pretty nice.

Draught at Taps Bebek as Taps Smoked, so I suppose this is the correct one. Slight hazy golden coloured, small white head, weak and rather sour smoked nose. Sourish acidic malty taste with mild notes of smoked ham. Quite bland and possible infected beer. Not good. Have to try it again next time.

Pale yellow color, minimal whitish head, slight smoky aroma, smoke flavor with slightly sweet taste, medium carbonation, medium body, abrupt finish. Not smoky enough to be remarkable but still interesting for a Turkish beer.

Bottled (as TAPS Smoked Lager)@Monks Porterhouse. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is smoked wet wood, some roasted malts, quite pilslike notes otherwise. Flavour is much the same. A rather pleasant smoked beer actually, without being all too aggressive.
