PINTA Żytorillo 14,0° - our own vision of traditional rye beer. Classical rye beer (Roggenbier) is pale, full bodied and softly-hopped (like PINTA Apetyt na Życie 13,1°). We decided to take next step - we added more malts (roasted malt included), we used perfect yeast for dark beers of top fermentation (S-04) and we added a bunch of Amarillo® hops (USA). PINTA Żytorillo 14,0° - rye beer for new days.

500ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, tan head. Roasty dark malty and minimally perfumed, spicy, rye malty as well as grassy and minimally piney, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, some liquorice. Taste is spicy, minimally bready, rye malty, slightly bitter, roasty, dark malty as well as moderately bitter, minimally perfumed, grassy and piney, minimally citrusy hoppy, hints of liquorice, a touch of scallions, dark chocolately undertones, minimally ashy interludes; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Oily-watery texture, dry palate, medium, prickly carbonation. Fairly bitter and spicy, nice dirty flavours - good.

Piękna, gęsta czapa piany. W aromacie czekolada, żywica, iglaki, cytrusy, słonecznik, kawa. Typowo, klasycznie, zachęcająco, może niezbyt intensywnie. W smaku żywica, czekolada, cytrusy, słonecznik. Klasycznie, smacznie. Całkiem wysoka, żywiczna goryczka. Lekko kwaskowate. Jakoś specjalnie żyta nie czuć, może jest ciut bardziej gęsto. Trochę inaczej je sobie zapamiętałem, ale jest bardzo smacznie, miły powrót.

50cl bottle at home. Black Rye IPA. Poured almost black in color, dense off whtie head. Nice roasty and piney hops. Pleasantly dry. Lacks finish though.

500 ml bottle. Murky black with a fluffy head. Intense hops, rubber, licorice, toffee, grapefruit zest, robusta coffee, burnt malt. Hoppy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, hoppy roasty bitter finish. Nice roasty intense Black IPA.

Kolor ciemny, nieprzejrzyste , piana beżowa pozostawia lacing, w aromacie słód , kawa, gorzka czekolada, w smaku na pierwszym planie gorzka czekolada kawa i żywiczna goryczka.

Bardzo palone, ciemne słody, palony słonecznik, mocno daje żytem, lekko tropiki. Barwa ciemno miedziana, piana trwała redukuje się do niskiej, ładny lacing. Goryczka wysoka, palona, dość długa. Bardzo wytrawne, pełne, dość gładkie, sprawia wrażenie większego ekstraktu. Nie koniecznie trafia w mój smak ale bardzo doceniam świetną robotę.

500ml Bottle - Black in colour. Liquorice, berries, pine, soap and ashtray in the aroma. Roasted and slightly earthy taste with liquorice, soap, fudge and citrus detected.

Bottle. Hazy brown color. Aroma: American hops, citrus, caramel and rye, a bit coffee. Taste: hoppy with bread, citrus and pine, a little caramel and grapefruit, bitter finish, good brew.
