PINTA Żytorillo 14,0° - our own vision of traditional rye beer. Classical rye beer (Roggenbier) is pale, full bodied and softly-hopped (like PINTA Apetyt na Życie 13,1°). We decided to take next step - we added more malts (roasted malt included), we used perfect yeast for dark beers of top fermentation (S-04) and we added a bunch of Amarillo® hops (USA). PINTA Żytorillo 14,0° - rye beer for new days.
Ingredients: water, Weyermann® barley malts: pale ale, rye, Munich II, roasted Carafa® Special II; hops: Amarillo (USA); yeast: Safale™ S-04.

Ciemna barwa, piana beżowa intensywna, mocno zdobi szklankę. W aromacie wyczuwalne nuty palone oraz żywiczne. W smaku wyraźnie pełne z nutami czekoladowymi, palonymi oraz żywicznymi. Goryczka na średnim poziomie, niezalegająca. Świetna Black IPA.

bottle from European local 2/207 from #mgajdaczewa thanks ! pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma laurel, roasted and toasted malts. Taste rye, dry, lots of grain, laurel, medium bitterness, cough syrup, soft, thin character. med body

50cl bottle. Pours dark orange brown colour with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. aroma of citrus hops, dark malt, some coffee. taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, caramel, nuts, bitter citrus hops, okay!

Bit cloudy dirty beige to brown beer (black?), creamy irregular aery beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: butterscotch, caramel, dried fruits, diacetyl. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: just lots and lots of butter, diacetyl, caramel, pretty roasted, bit sweet, bitter hops, not good enough to mask the buttery diacetyl flavour though. Aftertaste: same thing: butterscotch, caramel, dark chocolate and just more diacetyl in the mix. No good, sorry guys!
