Bottle at home. Aroma is burnt malt, lots of liquorice, big vanilla, coal, hint of dark chocolate, crème brûlée, marshmallow. Flavour is sweet with a little bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full. I’m not the world’s biggest fan of liqourice and vanilla, but the flavours work well in this intense beer.

En schnifter, color negro opaco, espuma marrón claro de poca retención. Aroma a malta torrefacta, café, chocolate puro, bizcocho de chocolate, pan de centeno, frutos secos, licor... En boca es robusta, cuerpo completo, textura oleosa, muy torrefacta, mezcla notas amargas bien potentes (cacao puro, posos de café, cenizas...) con toque dulces (brownie de chocolate, café bombón, tiramisú...) y una sinfonía licorosa de fondo que aporta, calor y confort. 10 year anniversary. Thuis geprobeerd met Roel. Het is een pikzwart bier met een volle bruinige schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout, koffie en vanille. De smaak is vol, chocolade en vanille achtig. Ebt snel weg.

330 ml can. Pours black with full foamy nitro like tan head. Aromas of sweet dark berries, black chocolate, vanilla and slick roasted malts. Flavors of creamy chocolate, sweetened blueberries, vanilla and oily roasted malts. Quite nice.

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, vanilla, and prunes. The flavor is sweet with notes of prunes, roasted malt, and prunes, leading to a dry roasted finish.

A black beer, a head is medium and beige. Aroma has roastiness, coffee, chocolate. Taste has roastiness of coffee, hocolate, some vanilla. Medium+ bodied, could be heavier. Good, but feels somehow unfinished.
