Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark brown with a generous fluffy head. Loads of fine bubbles. Nose - brown sugar. Black treacle. Jamaica cake. Taste - more brown sugar and cake. Palate - medium bodied and creamy. A bit sweet on the finish. Overall -

Bottle from Beers of Europe shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear dark mahogany with a thick beige head. Aromas of dark sugar and cake mix. Taste is light sweet, treacle, light spice. Bit sticky.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Caramel and a hint of citrus in the aroma. Sweet flavor with molasses and a hint of tobacco. The sweetness hides the alcohol, but doesn’t make it a good beer.

Flaska från belgiuminabox som är ett par år gammal. Mahogny brun med högt fluffigt beiget skum. Söt maltig doft med torkad frukt, plommon, marsipan, dammigt, mörkt socker. Mer lik en dubbel än en abt och ganska lättdrucken och lite saftig vilket innebär att alkohol är extremt väl dold. men också att eftersmaken är lite tunn. Gott.

At Bruges Beer Fest 2017. Pours clear brown/amber with a tan head that leaves lacing. The aroma contains hops, malts, bread, brown sugar and caramel. It tastes light sweet and light to medium bitter. The aroma is not too strong; watery texture, fizzy carbonation and short finish. Alcohol is hidden. Could have been more pronounced.

Bottle, BB 2018 (from belgiuminabox?). Pours dark amber. Aroma is sweet, raisins, fruits, dates, plums, malt. Flavor is sweet, slightly sour, fruity, raisins, dark fruits, plums, dates, malt, some burnt sugar. Alcohol is well covered. Carbonations is on the high side. Very good balance with fruits, sweetness and the booze. Body feels even bit thin, which is surpising considering the ABV. Overall: great brew, not too overwhelming, easy to drink.

Donkerbruin bier met mooie volle schuimkraag. Smaak is zoet kruidig en licht bitter met iets van karamel, stroop en kandij. Erg goed.

F: huge, pale brown, average retention. C: dark brown to dark ruby against the light. A: malty, light dark plums, hint of chocolate, banana, dark fruits, hint of red vine tones. T: malty, red vine, cherries, plums, hint of chocolate but quite fruity, candy, not very complex, medium body, good carbonation, 0,33l bottle from Maenhout supermarket in Oostende.
