Deze milk stout heeft een licht gebrand aroma met tonen van koffie en cacao. De toevoeging van lactose zorgt voor de zoete smaak die dient als tegenhanger van het geroosterde karakter en de bitterheid van de hop.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, milk chocolate, cocoa powder, lactose. Flavour is sweet with a hint of creamy lactose. Body is medium. A bit weak and too sweet, but the milk chocolate aroma is nice.

Deep dark brown colour, tall creamy tan head, good retention and light lacing. Aroma roasted malts, light coffee, cocoa, brown sugar, lactose. Taste light heavy sweet and slightly bitter, sweet malts, candy sugar, milk chocolate, lactose. Sweetbitter aftertaste, chocolate milk, light roast. Medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, lacks some body but nevertheless a decent milk stout.

Many thanks to RW80 for this bottle! Smooth and easy to drink beginning. Sweetish brown sugar, not too much depth. I miss the smoothness of the milk, the body is grainy dry with roasted caramel, not too deep. Even in the aftertaste no smooth milk there. Sad - the beer itself is not bad!

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Gorinchem. Dark brown to black with a thin off-white head. Chocolate, coffee with sugar aroma and some hops. Taste is sweet, as expected, with that typical oats mouthfeel. Body is good and finish is long and satisfying. Really nice beer.

[ As D’Olle Grieze Milk Stout ].Clear light dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, coffee, dusty coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, chocolate, milk chocolate - lactose, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160820]

TNOD(U)RBSG16. Very dark brown, small offwhite head. Roasted malt and coffee aroma. Sweet flavour, milky and sweet coffee. Has a little cocoa in the finish.
