Vintage 2004. 375ml Bottle corked. 20 years old beer.

Thanks, Adam? 2004 vintage. What can you say about a 20 year old beer? It’s sort of taste like a sour ale that was filtered through dirty socks and cardboard. not pleasant at all.

Bottle, bought expensively in the Cracked Kettle. pale orange color. Vinous aroma with muscat grapes, oak and sherry notes. Sour flavors, woody, citric and vinous. Sharp on the edges. Not a sign of the promised 10% ABV. Almost flat. An aftertaste that seems to linger on forever. Without any doubt a classic, I wish I had a crate of this, I would store it for many more years.

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4, thanks! Pours crystal clear amber. Aroma is cherry, glue, leather, funk, vinegar. Body is medium, sour, vinegary and acidic, still some solubles, fruity, tannins, a bit pinching but not disturbing. Actually rather smooth. Reminds me of Duchesse De Burgogne, but much more balanced. Very good!

Bottle, Dec 2017. Hazy ruby color with no head. Aroma is balsamico, cherries, wood, touch aceton. Taste is wood, leathery, cherry, a touch raspberry, tannic. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Excellent!Bottle, Jul 2019, many thanks VsXsV, would not have expected to have this again. It is still very balanced and drinkable good aceto balsamico, not too sour, very tasty.
