Bottle @ home. Hazy brown color, full sized off-white to beige head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts and moderate smoke. Taste malts, somehow a bit sweetish, toasted malts, perhaps even a distant hint of dark fruits and of course some smoke and smokey bitterness. After a while even a hint of chocolate comes through. Average to medium body and quite soft carbonation.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, ruby brown colour with a medium-sized and tanned foamy head. Moderately fruity aroma of cherries an red berries, backed by a mildly dark and toasted malty background with a whiff of smokiness. Mildly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Toasty malty base with hints of marzipan, nuts, caramel, accompanied bittering and subtle fruity and spicy hops; bitter-sweet toast-malty and mildly hoppy finish. 17.IV.16

[backlog] 30-04-16 / bottle shared at home. Dark brown. Smokey with dry plums, red berries and cherrie aroma. Wood notes. I started rating my beers with Untappd and a few basic notes. Now I want to rate them on ratebeer. So my rating sometimes lack some information. Just ignore it, it is for my personal statistics. Untappd-Rating 4/5

donkerbruin met rode gloed en fijne lichte kraag, aroma is moutig, caramel, gerookte mout, ham. smaken van caramel, rookmout, ham, zacht, matig bitter, licht gebrand/geroosterd, matig zoet, matige body, geen topper

Many thanks for this beer to Erzengel. Pours dark brown color, fairly hazy. Quite a lot of creamy tan head, dry roasted malty aroma.

Smooth and dry malty beginning. Nice dried plums, sticky but dry honey, dark cherries. Intense dry roasted, hints or very dry roasted smoke. The beer is intense and sticky, fresh, still nice drinkable. Long warming aftertaste, round, dry-roasted and dark-dried-fruity. Great!
