Draft sample @ Oersoep Bierfest 2015, Nijmegen. Trouble léger orangé, col fin blanc. Arôme ofre un bouquet moyen avec des effluves clairemetnd e rhubarbe mais pas aussi prononcée que sur d’autres versions que j’ai pu goûter ailleurs. Le tout sur un nez frais laissant passer des notes surettes finement adoucies en rétro. Palais de rhubarbe avec un profil aigrelet moyen. Le tout est assez pétillant avec ce fini filandreux typique de rhubarbe. Le tout offre une certaine épaisseur en bouche ponctuée par une rondeur maltée, froment? qui reste marqué en fin de bouche.

Sampled draft @ Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2015. Very hazy golden, solid white head. Nose is shockingly sweet esp. considering the plant used. Smell is pure candy, gelatin candy, sugar, very sweet. Taste is hugely sweet, candy, artificial sweeteners, gelatin candy, white sugar,…. Solid body. Okay but I have absolutely no idea as to why it is so sweet & candy-like.

Tap at Oersoep festival. Hazy straw with white head. Lactic, dough, rhubarb, light rubber, tortilla, some herbs and candy even though this is not sweet at all. Light sour, hint of salt. Light bodied and bone dry.

Wheat Ale. Draught @ new location opening event. Completely opaque milky color, average sized off-white head. Smell and taste lightly sweetish, wheat, rhubarb indeed. Decent body and soft carbonation.

On tap @ Oedipus Brewing’s pre-opening fest for crowdfunders. Extremely cloudy yellow color. Uneven off-white head. Aroma’s of vegetables, slightly sulphuric, light sour. Retronasal there’s sourness, fruit (perhaps rhubarb). Flavor is light sour, grainish, light bitter. Light bodied. Finish is long, quite dry and moderate bitter.
