Aroma of malt, fruits, yeast, light farmhouse funk, citrus peel, spicy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet with a moderate bitter finish. Nice Belgian Ale with a touch of Saison.

Bright yellow colour. Aroma and flavour both have a certain spicy, herbal characteristic. Also a touch of lemony citric acid. The farmer can keep it.

Clear medium golden colour, large frothy white had, good retention and lacing. Fruity aroma, banana, bubblegum, candy sugar, dough, some vanilla, coriander, citrus. Taste is medium sweet, light bitter and light sour, fruity, spicy notes, long duration. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste sweetbitter, citric and alcoholic notes. Fresh feel, very smooth, well-balanced and tasty strong Ale.

very hazy yellow colour, huge, though quickly collapsing white head; aroma of tropical fruits, some citruses, earthy, barnyard, floral and minimal peppery notes, some biscuit and maybe some vanilla; taste is the same - despite the intensive fruity sweetness, still dry mouthfeel; reminds me to Duvel with saison notes; great beer!

330ml bottle from Saveur-Biere.fr. Pours hazy blonde with fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet vanilla. Taste is fairly yeasty and Belgian tripel-y. Pretty sweet with a nice fragrant freshness about it. Yes, very nice.

Naparbier’s interpretation of the ’Belgian strong blonde’ edelbier style, with a beautiful yellowish ’gold foil’ colour, clear (but misty with deposit), with medium fizz supporting a regularly shaped, dense, snow white head. Sharply fruity, sweetish and somewhat (artificially?) soapy aroma of yellow Zespri kiwi, banana, starfruit, citrus hand soap, strong bubblegum, touch of passionfruit, powder sugar, orange flesh, strong freshly cut apple, cream cheese, lemonbalm, lemongrass even, shortbread, cake and effectively added aromatic spices (I suppose good old coriander again). Fruity onset with strong, sourish carbo, a lot of apple, berries, starfruit, banana with sweet bubblegum and in that sense very ’Belgian’, lean and supple mouthfeel, relatively light in view of the ABV, elegant, sweetish malts in a ’clean’, smooth way, bit honeyish, finish is mainly a seamless continuation of this but some late, lightly spicy hoppiness shows up as well, just sufficiently bittering to balance the sweetness, apart from a resiny, drying spice effect (coriander); a wodka-like alcohol warmth is already present in the middle and gets a bit stronger in the end, but not becoming too astringent. Very elegant elaboration on the Duvel theme I would say, perhaps a bit too much tilted to the sweet bubblegum side and a bit too alcoholic. In any case not a saison, as the word "farmer" in the name seems to suggest.
