Bottle at home. Aroma is roasted malt, mocha, coffee, dark chocolate, touch of liquorice. Flavour is moderate sweet and fairly bitter. Body is just above medium, slightly creamy. Nice.

Bottle. Almost black. Malt, cane sugar, roast and coffee in the aroma. Malty sweet roasty flavor with hints of licorice and coffee. Slightly alcoholic, laurel in the finish.

Geprobeerd @Oirschot bierfestival 2016. Het is een donkerbruin bier met weinig schuim. De smaak en geur is gebrande mout en drop / zoethout.

Cloudy dark brown to black beer, practically no head. Aroma: very roasted, malty, grains, bit metallic, fruity, dried fruits, mocha. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very bitter, alcoholic, spicy, grains, liquorish, aniseed. Aftertaste: very roasted, metallic, bitter, hoppy, more roasted flavours, a bit chemical, some alcohol.

Bottle 330ml. at [ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting ] @ Deanso’s place (former ABC Beers), Korte Koediefstraat 5 Den Haag, Netherlands 2511CE. [ As Bliksem GROM ].Clear dark black brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, coffee, wood, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peat - wood, coffee, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160922] 8-4-7-3-15

[9/22/16] Bottle sample at Pre-Borefts RateBeer Tasting at ABC Beers in Den Haag. Thanks everyone for sharing bottles! Black with a tan head. Great aroma of dark chocolate, a bit of soy sauce. Sweet flavor with chocolate, roast, caramel, some dark fruits, a bit of licorice, some alcohol. Quite full-bodied. Very nice.

Thank you Benzai. 330 ml. bottle sampled @ Pre-Borefts Ratebeer Tasting 2016. Black, mocha head. Nose is umami syrupy, herbal, burned coffee & molasses. Taste is burned, bitter molasses, decent umami, quite herbal & bitter with roasted notes. Body is molasses, umami, syrup. Bit too bitter, burned & umami heavy for me but decent still.
