Tap @ Fermentoren, Aarhus. Pours clear, light amber with a small white head. Aroma has lots of green sour apples, the classic but not as complex girardin funkiness to it, grapey, vinegary. Taste has the same sour green apples, tannic, vinegary, barnyard.

Bottle at the Poechenellekelder. Quite a surprise. Has a faro feel to it somehow. Nice funkiness in the nose, musty, bit of coconut, almond. Taste has a touch of sweetness, hint of coconut again, not aggressive at all. Apples. Cider like elements even. Quite soft carbonation. Marzipan, very light citrus. Interesting. Further down it becomes a bit sourer, but still very interesting.

Lovely aroma with lemon, oak and honey. Sweetish flavor with some sourness, but robbed from its backbone. Orange, oak, some saccharine bitterness, walnuts. The aroma is great but I must admit this beer lacks the power, bite and abundance of flavors the black label has. Still a good beer, though...

37.5cl bottle, bottled 2012. Amber in colour, the beer starts with a mild acidity and hints of mild dry wood. Very dry but not too much sourness after ageing in my cellar. Nice smooth and dry horse blanket with wet wood, smooth and sessionable with a woody deep but not too sour aftertaste. Very nice and mild smooth.

375ml bottle from Vanuxeem, shared with Soph in Eecke. Pours clear gold, aroma is funk, sweaty, aged floral notes. Taste is medium bodied, floral funk, aged fruity notes, light sour. Seems stripped of its sharp tangy sour edge resulting in a deflated gueuze character. I can understand why some would find this appealing but its not for me.
