Bottle shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours deep purple with a pink-tinged head. Strong cherry aromas, light spice. Taste is sour cherry, spiced biscuits. Some raspberry notes. Long balanced finish.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - deep purple with red chinks. Nice lacy head. Nose - lovely cherry aroma. Light spice and light sour undernote. Taste - luscious cherry and cinnamon. Spiced biscuits at the end. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long balanced finish. Overall - lovely beer.

Mørk rød klar med fingerhøyt beige skum. Lukter kirsebær, vanilje og mandler. Søtlig smak, mandler, kirsebær også i smak, alkoholen kommer noe i smak. Lang søt stikky avslutning.

Mørk rød farge med hvitt skum. Varmet opp til 70 grader. Lukter selvfølgelig varme kirsebær og også alkohol. Smaker søte kirsebær. Søtlig lang avslutning.

Enjoyed warm at Hand Beer bar, Falmouth. It pours dark ruby with no head (due to the mulling no doubt). The nose is rich, fragrant, bitter - sweet, festive spice, orange peel, red grape and mulled wine. The taste is very juicy, rich tangy fruits, red grape, cherry jam, spice, light tartness and some mouth - pucker with a dry, tangy finish. Medium body and limited carbonation. This is really delicious hot. Tangy, fruit and sour. Tasty.

100ml sample. Clear ruby-red, small pink head. Simple sweetened sour cherry aroma. Same taste, sweet and sour, no funk, just some fruit stone bitterness. It’s indeed better drank warm/hot - less perceivable sweetness and gets some mulled wine-like spiciness. (backlog 17-JAN-2016).

Bottle. Room temperature. Dark red-brown colour. Quite harmonic yet complex beer. Strong cherry, seems natural. Light light chocolate. Pleasant subtle mix of spices, badyan, cinnamon. Easy drinking, very good.

Bottle at home. Pours deep brown. hot- nose is cherry, toffee, spices, taste is light funk, warming spices, fruity. Cold- more of the funk and oak coming through.
