From bottle at Bier Xperience Steenwijk 2016. Aroma is mainly grainy malt, straw, with a welcome grassy hoppy finish. Flavour is lightly sweetish and moderate bitter. Body is medium. High abv is not very noticeable, nicely grainy and grassy hoppy Imperial Pilsener.

*Bottle from the brewery. Malty deep rich beginning. Alcoholic hints with a nice bitterness, round and deep with a nice bitter grainy finish. Hints of floral hops, not bad with a sweetish grainy bitter finish.

14/V/18 - 30cl bottle @ Hendrik's place - BB: IX/2018 (2018-702) Thanks to Hendrik N. for sharing the bottle!
Clear pale yellow beer, creamy off-white head, little stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very malty, sweetish impression, bit chemical, some yeast, ginger notes, fruity, banana, some marzipan (might be signs of early oxidation). MF: soft carbon, medium body. taste: some banana, malty, yeast, sugary, boring and sweet.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 25 Feb 2018) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grass, hay and peaches. Malty, slightly fruity taste with bread, grass, peaches, lemon peel, soft malt and a balanced grassy bitterness. Almost full body, with a slight sweetness. Tasty and fairly well balanced with just a touch of alcohol. Quite enjoyable.
