Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Taste: Balance between hopbitter and pretty sweet malt, sugar, notes of caramel. The sweet side is just a bit too sweet for me, causing the beer to be a bit out of balance. Overall not bad, but no wow factor. Medium to full body, medium carbonation.

Bottle at home while waiting for my sauce to get ready. Clear light golden with small white head. Quite some fresh baked bread, honey, light citrus and apricot. There’s some cardboard and wood in the finish, with a lingering sweet herbal/metallic aftertaste. Just medium sweet and bitter, over medium bodied. Doesn’t taste like 8% abv, but like most strong lagers it’s a but pointless. There’s some nice (but light) hop aroma, but it’s just too alcoholic and metallic. I’d prefer a tasty lager with lower abv.

Pale, clear golden beer, big bubbled; medium snowwhite head. Pale malts, herbs, bit grassy. And alcohol, if not too boozy. Sweet, malty, and just a stamp of alcohol. Not like a malt liquor, but "refined" would be a bridge too far. Spicy, unobtrusive but present hops - again herb. Feels seriously carbonated, belying tthe looks. Slick, bit fiery, near agressive MF. Alcohol more in the aroma than in the MF. Mjaah...

Bottle. Copper golden color. Aroma has malt and iron. Taste has sweet malt, booze and some artificial sweetness. Seems like it’s just gladiator in another form. Bad.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Plus Culemborg. Pale clear yellow with a white head. Nice grassy hoppy aroma. Decent bitter taste and a great aftertaste.
