Bottle @ home shared by Thompson. Clear yellow color, medium to full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, malt bitter, hay / straw. Not a lot of flavor nor aroma. Drinkable, but I wonder why. Isn’t it much nicer to drink a low ABV dry hopped (and a bit more dry hopped than this one) beer?

75cl Bottle, thanks H&T! Murky golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of sweet malts, honey, soft lemon, herbal, lavender, light grassy, resembles the malt base of Christoffel Nobel. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, lemon, herbal, decent bitter finish. Medium bodied, slick. Nice.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB 02 Mrt 2018, large sample. Almost clear yellow color, medium frothy head. Aroma of grassy hop, bit grainy malt, bit flowery, slight spicy even. Slight bitter in taste. Bit thin in body. Alcohol is not really noticeable. I expected a lot more I guess, no firm German styled bitterness or big old world hops in the nose. Just quite boring actually. Had a schwarz and a kuyt before, so its not that I was full of hop already. Expected a lot more.

0.75 l bottle from ’Mitra’ (Beukenweg, Amsterdam), bottled in March 2016. Clear, pale golden yellow with a medium large, fluffy, slowly diminishing, white head. Floral, fruity-grassy aroma of fresh grass, some citrus and sweet malts. Sweetish, floral and slightly fruity-grassy taste of biscuits, some citrus, fresh grass and hints of honey, followed by a short, moderately dry-bitter, grassy and a little alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite sweet and not overly hoppy, but still a nice, refreshing and rather easily drinkable beer. With regard to the ’Ur-Hop’, I expected a bit more though.
