Bottle at home. Aroma is soft roasted malt, coffee, liquorice, chocolate, some caramel, and a touch of salmiak in the finish. Flavour is medium sweet with a little roasty bitterness. Body is medium to full. I wasn’t too keen on the other Tasty Lady beers, but I’ve got to say this is a surprisingly ’tasty’ Porter!

Bottle. Color: Almost black, big frothy light brown head. Aroma: Chocolate, roasted malt. Taste: Pretty strong dark and milk chocolate, roasted malt. Moderate sweet, moderate to medium bitter. Liquorice notes. Slightly sourish hints of red fruit. Smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, under average carbonation. Nicely balanced. Good beer.

Bottle at cgarvieuk tasting. Appearance - opaque black with a thin fawn head. Nose - dark bitter chocolate. Taste - ginger cake. More dark chocolate. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - love this. Hard to define.

0,33l bottle at home. BB 09/2017. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of dark bread, earthy, lightly sour, hints of green apples, lightly leathery. overall quite decent smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes sweet, caramel, also some sourness in the background, bit puke-like, spices, licorice, lightly earthy, milk chocolate, light lethery, overall rather creamy. finishes lightly acidic also sweet with notes of milk chocolate, caramel and some licorice. overall decent stuff, but a bit weird, the sour notes are a bit weird, but it does keep the sweetness in check, but both are not totally well integrated. overall still quite decent.
