This reddish Amber beer brewed with top fermenting yeast thanks its name to, you guessed it, the colour of the beer itself. This particular American Amber Ale has a light-sweet taste, a low-key hoppy bouquet and not too much alcohol. The well-balanced mix of malts gives this beer its characteristic colour and a clean finish.

Good; bit fluffy yellow head over hazy dark amber beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Sweetish nose, with bread, toasted malt, parsley. Some hint at hops, too, all the same. Bitter, toasted; light bitterish nuts, leafy hops; just a tad too modest, not enough sparkle. Light to medium bodied, quite slick. Good carbonation. Much better than expected, really. Outstanding in its class.
