From tap @ Flandes. Dark brown coloured with a beige head. Nose is coffee, coffee powder, caramel. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, caramel, bit bready.

Tap, 4,3%. Tap @ Cockney. Very dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, bread and hop. Flavour is roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, little bread, medium sweet, hop, little liquorice and a little bitter.

0,5 l bottle. Pours dark ruby red with a good finger of tan, thick lasting head. Aroma of roasted malts, light coffee and chocolate, some dried fruit and a bit of grassy hops. Strong flavor of roasted malts, complemented by coffee, chocolate, sweet caramel. Light bitterness. Body is light to medium, not as creamy as some other oatmeal stouts with average carbonation. Lacing is superb. Nice, very drinkable stout.

0.5 l bottle from Pivoteka. Retro tasting session by Hrabren’s Choice. Shared with Višnja. Black with small tan head, diminishing. Roasty, coffee, ash. Dry and roasty. Watery textrue, light to medium body, soft to medium carbonation, light to roasty finish. Like it, but to light.

Tap@The Bull, Streatham, London (August) - dark brown to black pour with a tan head. Sweet creamy malty aroma and taste, light roasted, sweet milky chocolate, with some caramel, slight bitter into the finish. Decent.

Review from memory, had it last year and didn’t take notes, will update if I get a chance to try it out again. Anyways... Bottle, 0.5l. Pours black body with medium sized, creamy beige head. Smell is mostlys roasted malts and coffee. Light to medium body with somewhat thick texture, regularly carbonated. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, caramel, licorice. Regular finish. Feels a bit light, lacking in character. Overall, nothing special, but decent and very drinkable.

0.5L bottle (from SuperAlko). Pours dark brown with beige-light brownish head. The head stays. Aroma is cocoa, malt, roast. Flavor is sweet and bitter, cocoa powder, dark chocolate, malt, roast. Finish is roast bitter. Body is on the thinner side. Drinkability is good, although it feels bit dead. Carbonations is bit high for me. Tap at Hand & Spear, Weybridge. 28/08/16. Sweet aroma, but particuarly strong. Dark chestnut. Thick beige head. Smooth bodies. Sweet with a hint of dark roast. Not the most complex of stouts but it does made a decent pint.

Bottle, 500 ml, courtesy of JFK10000. Shared with him and Miro. Pours black, creamy beige head. Light roastiness, malt, bit of chocolate. Sweetish with dry finish. Also watery, and bit bland, very simple brew.

Jun ’16. A 0.5 l bottle, as London Stout, 5.2% ABV, same label as the other one listed here at 4.3%, this one doesn’t mention oats except in the ingredients.
It poured a very dark reddish, almost black body with medium sized light brown head. Coffee, rye, strong roasted malt aroma. Flavor was bitterish, lighter roasted, but still coffee-driven with some finer, more creamy coffee, and chicory. Thin but with long coffee bitterish finish. Quite simple but fine. I’m almost sure this is different than the oatmeal stout, this has no characteristics of one.
