Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoljub Ljubljana. Black coloured, small brownish head, mild chocolate nose. Roasted malt, cocoa powder, chocolate and some notes of coffee in the finish. Simple, easy-drinkable but pretty boring stout.

Bottle, 0.50l. Pours pitch black with medium soapy light brown head and good lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, oats and grass. Taste starts light sweet grainy and coffeeish, follows by bitter chocolate and herbs, maybe some licorice, mouthfeel is dry, while finish is mild bitter. Medium body, creamy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Good and smooth...

Bottle, 5.2% ABV. Nearly black with a tan head. Aroma of molasses, nuts, mild roast. Texture could be softer and you don’t have to look to see it’s pasteurized. A little sweet with firmer roasted flavours than suggested by the aroma, hints of berries and chocolate. Coffee is a little astringent at the dry and modestly bitter finish. Some light spices there too. Pleasant enough.

Keg at Ushers. Pours black with a head like clotted cream. Might be nitrokeg but it looks lush. Aromas of light roast, light chocolate. Taste lets it down a bit, not much going on. Light coffee maybe, thin finish.

Old rating. Bottle from Old Town. Solid bready aromas with hints of grain and toasted malt. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. A heavy beer for sure. Nice sweet grains and toasted malts. Smooth finish.

Pours a deep black color, topped with a hefty and lasting beige colored head. Great lacing. Starts with a gush of chocolate aroma, followed by a heavy coffee smell. Tste starts wit ha bit of sweetness, roasty body with notes of coffee as well. Finishes with a mild bitterness and lingering and very mild coffee notes in the aftertaste. A great one. Loved it.

Almost black, one finger thick creamy head. Aroma of roast acids, port wine and coffee. Medium body. The taste is dry with notes of coffee, chocolate, some earth. a good one.
