Keg at the brewpub. Pours lightly hazy golden-brown with a light, creamy off-white head. The nose gives some ripening citrus fruits, faint pine and grains, rind, grainy bread. Light to medium sweet flavor with an oily-grainy character, faint toast and toffee, ripe citrus, bread, light leafy bitterness. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, lightly resinous, with some lightly toastes malts, orange, pine needles. Tasty beer.

Tap at the Cock Tavern. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy white head and some broken lace. The aroma is earthy malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a watery light metallic nutty hop bitter palate with some spices in the finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at The Cock. Pours hazy brown with a tan head. Aroma of fruits, malt, caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium nodied with light carbonation.

Keg at the Cock Tavern, 19/12/14. Murky dark orange amber with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is malt forward, light floral notes, biscuit, light cocoa, fruit rinds, toffee. Taste comprises earthy hops, biscuit malt, caramel, tea leaves, perfumed notes, soft pretzels, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter hoppy linger. Ok brown.
