As the first new beer to be brewed in Windsor for nearly 80 years GUARDSMAN is how we think every Best Bitter should taste. Guardsman is a lovely copper-coloured session strength ale with a tangy taste and a really fresh hop finish. It is brewed with premium Maris Otter pale malt and a blend of Pilgrim, Styrian Golding and Fuggles hops.

Cask at Spoons in Heathrow Teeminal Two. What a way to say goodbye to the UK than an astounding pint of bitter. This beer, of which really o had little expectation was a joy to drink. Sure the flavours are not complex and it settled very badly but it is EXTREMLY gluggable and I think a great bitter should do just that. It should make u want more, make the conversation flow better and taste comforting. I loved this. Well done Windsor. ------ Cask at the Crown Rivers spoons, terminal 5. again at Heathrow I have this beauty. This is just a really solid bitter...gluggable so it is light but with a strong bitterness and malty profile. hazelnuts. 3.8 to 3.5. still a great bitter

Three cask, hand-pulled pints in the excellent Admiral Benbow, on the beach at Chapel St Leonards, Lincolnshire: 15th Jan 2017. Lovely looking beer, amber/copper body wise, beige head that lasted. On the malty side and semi-sweet, balanced by the hop blend that calms the sweetness down nicely. Some caramel hints in both the nose and taste, piney bitterness from the hops.
