On a quest to brew a witbier chock full of flavor, Namaste White digs deep into our culinary roots using ingredients of dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass, peppercorns and a bit of coriander for a refreshing and sessionable experience.

“A twist on the usual witbier - complex in its aroma, simultaneously refreshing and contemplative.” - Paste

With notes of clove and subtle coriander, you'll find flavors of citrus and sweet malt, with a slightly spicy finish for a zesty mouthfeel.

Originally brewed in tribute to our friends at 3 Fonteinen Brewery in Belgium after a devastating setback to their business in 2009, Namaste White is a witbier bursting with good karma.

2010 bottle via a trade with Veldrid. Pours with a murky yellow body with a medium sized white head. Aromas of lemon, coriander, cologne and potpourri. Some mandarin orange, wheat, and sage as well. Flavors are up front with wheat, lemongrass, orange, vanilla, biscuit and pepper. A bit perfumey. Medium, delicate carbonation. Light mouthfeel. Pretty refreshing.

Capped 750 from Malt & Vine. Making cioppino and thinking maybe a light white beer. Pours hazy dishwater gold with a fizzy white head. Aroma is sort of citrus and hint of coriander. Near medium body. Flavor is orange hint, citrus, definitely coriander and maybe another herb. Drinks with firm body and clean taste. Going down well.

Location: 750 ml bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 1/3/11

Aroma: The nose is wheat, coriander/spice, lemongrass, bubblegum, and yeast
Appearance: This beer pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small, fizzy, white head
Flavor: Taste is rather typical of the style, wheat, spice, a little citrus, and a touch of grass
Palate: The mouthfeel is light and rather fizzy, the carbonation is high, and the duration rather short
Overall Impression: This is a fairly solid, thought not particularly exciting example of the Belgian White style. It's certainly worth trying, even if there isn't anything special about it per se.

really nice white ale, funny though that it s tastes remarkable similar to long trail belgian white, but this is more real tasting if that makes any sense. Long Trail tastes like it has artifical flavor, but this seems like its very natural in its taste. aroma is typical for a white, not very strong, but appetizing. the flavor is what you’d expect, but with a little more orange than lemon which is actually nice for a white. very enjoyable.

750mL bottle, pours cloudy golden yellow with a white head. Aroma of coriander, wheat and pungent citrus. Flavour of strong coriander, citrus, wheat, and with some potent flowery notes at the end. Nice for the style.

Sampled on draft at 3 Rivers 6 pack this beer poured a cloudy yellow-golden color with a large white head that lingered and produced minimal lacing. The aroma was tart with notes of coriander, pepper and bread. The flavor was tart and dry with cardboard, must, coriander and pepper notes. The finish was medium length and had lingering coriander and must. Medium body. Ok.

Strong coriander, dandelion, and lemongrass nose, all perfectly complimentary. Hazy yellow, headless. Delicious coriander and lemon flavor. Clean finish. Thin mouthfeel, but full of flavor. One of the best witbiers I’ve ever had.

Bottle shared by Ari, thanks! Poured a very pale near clear gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of strong lemongrass with a slight orange and light wheat backing. Flavor was full of strong lemongrass as well with a backing of light citrus and wheat. A bit too much lemongrass for me though I did enjoy the beer on the tongue.

I would call this a Hoegaarden "clone" And that’s a good thing! I wish I had a Hoe right now to compare it with. Coriander is very present, wheat, yeast and a little orange. Taste is lemon grass and massive coriander, sugar, and some bitterness in the background. Small head that left very nice lacing as I drank. Mild carbonation. ANOTHER, strong beer from the brewer in Milton, Delaware.

Pours pale yellow into a tumbler. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes to coat surface. Lemon and marshmallow aromas. Thin with upfront lemon and marshmallow with a lasting bitter coriander finish.
