A wise person once said "Nothing is done until it is overdone." We couldn’t agree more, so we took the righteousness of our Shuggie and big upped the NZ hops, the malt, just plain everything.

Pours clear gold into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Rotting mango and papaya aromas. Sour caramel and overripe tropical fruit upfront turning to dank resin in the lasting finish.

This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a glossy semi-burnt orange to yellow color with a quickly dissipating foamy head. Semi-thick messy lacing weaves around the glass.
The smell starts off with bitter citrus rind, sharp bitter pine, pretty unyielding and aromatic full of the bitterness. But as it warms, a gentle amount of a citrus to grapefruit edge makes an effort to invade becomes balanced nicely.
The taste pretty much follows the smell nicely. Bitterness of the pine and citrus rind hit in the aftertaste and follows right on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation feels low enough to allow normal AIPA harshness character to hit appropriately.
Overall, this was a really nice AIPA that I would have again. Great stuff!

Draught @ Alewife. Hazy bright orange with small foamy white head that dissipates immediately, orange peel aroma with floral hops, medium carbonation, sweet starting taste turning into balanced hops bitterness, smooth long hoppy finish. Very smooth brew.

Hotel Lobby share, RBWG ’15, Tampa Hilton 19/02/15. Hazed orange amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is juicy hops, citric pith, pine, pissy notes. Taste comprises punchy hops, tangerine, pine needle, light skunk notes, mandarin. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid IPA - worthy of IPA rating#1,000.

Ticked at night one of the rbwg2015 hotel lobby bottle share extravaganza. Bottle pours with a hazy gold body that supports an off white head. The aroma offers up clementine, tangelo and slim spicy onion dankness. The taste delivers a mix of spicy onion dank hops and citrusy tangerine, tangelo and grapefruit. This has a nice play between spicy bitter hops and mild juicy citrus and pineapple flavor hoppiness.

Bottle shared during the first Late Nite session of RBWG 2015. Picked up at De Cicco’s. Pours lightly hazy gold with a foamy white head. Nice aroma, some pissy hops, pale bread. Medium sweet flavor, some rind, pithy grapefruit and lemon, mild pee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly drying to finish, lots more pithy citrus, some rind, pale bread, piss, grapefruit, minerals. Great stuff.
