Sample at Proletariat. Hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that diminishes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of funky fruit, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of funky yeast, fruity hops and malt. The finish is tart white grape and citrusy hops. Pretty good all around.

Draught at the brewery. For some reason unexplicable by the barmen it was now called Acidifilus Neo. Hazy bright yellow with small spongy head head that dissipates fast, acidic/moldy aroma, low carbonation, sour moldy taste, long tart finish. Frankly it was difficult to pinpoint the difference with the Acidofilus Rex.

At the source: pours hazy light gold with a white head. Aroma is sour malt and much of it plus sour citrus and the like. Taste is really quite sour but the sourness doesnt stick in your mouth for too long. Low sweetness. Good bit not overly complex.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light Brett, light cork, piney notes, light floral hops, nice. In mouth, a nice sour ale with lemon, lactic acid, Brett notes, light ground cherry, very nice. On tap at Hops and Hocks.
