Bottle from trader Joe’s pours hazy orange with a thick white head that laces the length of the glass. Aroma is oranges, grapefruit, cascade hops. Really nice nose. Flavor is light but packed with balance and flavor. Pale grassy malts, big earthy, grassy hops with just enough citrus lingering in the finish to make you want to chug this stuff. Liquid gold.

Sample at the Yard House in Vegas (as Yard House Pale). The beer is a clear orange-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that diminishes quickly. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrusy hops and a bit of malt. Light to medium body with a lightly bitter hops character that has citrus and malt notes. The finish is short and mildly hoppy. Average overall.

12 oz bottle given to me by csbosox. Pour is mostly clear golden orange with a one inch thicker white head. Aroma is citrus pine, on top of the toasted malt caramel. Nose is clean, though fairly subdued. The taste follows the nose, subdued orange citrus, lighter pine integrated well with the toasted malt, along with the milder caramel sweetness. As with the nose, flavors are clean, just a bit on the quiet side. The palate is light bodied, active carbonation with a dry mildly bitter finish. Nice clean pale. Thanks for giving me this one Chris.

Bottle from Trader Joe’s - Fairfax. Poured a clear copper color, with a medium sized creamy white head. Aroma is touch of floral and earthy hops, malt backing is solid. Flavor was tasty, flavorful, enjoyable. This is a solid, inexpensive beer.

On tap at Pete’s midtown venue. Pours amber with a creamy off-white head. Pine aroma. It’s a bit light, but the piney hop pleasantly dominates the malt. A nice sessionable. Drinks very well.

Light aroma of citrus hop; maybe a bit flowery. Gold color with a passing white head. Starts with a very nice hit of citrus hop. Clean. There’s not a great deal here other than the hop, but the mouthfeel is nice. A bit short on malt, but better short than long. Finishes with bitter and a lingering hint of citrus.

Draft. A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of hops and grass as well as lighter notes of elderflowers. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, elderflowers, grass, and hay, leading to a dry and bitter finish. It reminds me of helping bringing in the hay at my summertime childhood job.

Herbal and minty aroma, chiefly basil, with caramel hints. Foamed out of the bottle upon opening. Clear amber, massive lacing head. Herbal tea flavor, tons of basil, some coriander notes present. Mouthfeel is harsh and over carbonated. Unique

Bottle thanks to blutt59. Pours with a clear golden body and a small white head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine and fruity. Really fresh. Taste is grassy, tea and fruity. Medium carbonation, dry finish. When fresh, this is a rocking pale ale!!

Trader Joe’s Brooklyn six-pack ($7): Pours a golden body with a long lasting thick and sugary white head. Aroma of citrusy malts with a few spicy notes. Some nice bitterness in the taste. A few fleeting sweet notes. Pretty light bodied, but not at all too watery, rather refreshing and easy-going. Very thin malt taste. Simple, sessionable, but all in all quite good.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma is hoppy citrus with a touch of pine resin. Flavor features biscuity malts balancing the citrusy hops along with some grassier hop flavors. Slightly lighter than medium body. Certainly a good buy for the price.
