This was poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt yellow almost orange color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at a nice pace. Messy lacing.
The smell started off with a dry resinous/piney coating over some citrus rind. As it warms, more orange rind bitterness comes out nicely. Light melon almost honeydew.
The taste moderated well between the bitter orange rind to the bitter piney-ness. Extra light sweet citrus balances in nicely. Semi-sweet melon to bitter piney aftertaste. Dry piney finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium in body. Slight sessionable feel. Orange juice-like bitterness hits my tongue nicely.
Overall, really nice AIPA that I know I’d love to have again. Perfect Spring sipper on my back porch!

Got in a BIF from tasterchoice62. 500 ml bottle into tulip glass, bottled on 2/18/2016. Pours very hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense adn fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings around the glass. Aromas of huge pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Incredible aromas with fantastic complexity and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of huge pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange zest, citrus rind, light pepper, pine, honey, lightly toasted bread, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Moderate pine/citrus rind/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of pineapple, grapefruit, tangerine, peach, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, lemon/orange rind, pepper, pine, honey, bread, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero astringent hop flavors after the finish. Light-moderate dryness from bitterness that increases through the glass. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately sticky/resinous, and fairly creamy/bready balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a mind blowing IPA! All around incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of juicy/dank citrus/tropical/pine hops and moderate bready malt flavors; and very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink. An insanely amazing offering.

Pours hazy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Scallion and hot caramel aromas. Sharp to medium bodied with caramel and garlic upfront turning to resin, bitter earth and grapefruit in the lasting finish.

500 ml from Redstone, Andover location for a price of $6.25. Hazy gold with a tint of orange hue. Aroma is Danky!! Sticky pine, potent floral notes and lightly funky yeast, snap!!!

Flavor has the Danky pine, light marijuana notes and traces of cat piss. Body is medium plus with plenty of malts. The yeast and the malt help in the balance. The Brewer claims 122 IBU, if that is so it doesn’t leave my palate fatigued but this is for sure my last brew of the evening. Overall I really like the dank character of the entire brew. I enjoyed every single beer I have had from this Brewer and I LOVE the classic rock reference in the name of this beer. Can’t wait to track more down. Perhaps a road trip is in order??

Fresh bottle drunk 9/25/15.
Pours a moderately hazy drab bronze body with a large white head that slowly fades to cover.
Phew, that is not a nice nose....as soon as I get near the glass it’s just overwhelming yeast stink, resin and honey-dough-like malts. Even as the beer warms, breathes, I have another glass...nope, still smells very off-putting; just too much aspirin/b-vitamin.
Surprisingly then, it’s quite nice in the mouth. Supple, full-malted texture is appropriately attenuated with fluffy carbonation and tons of honey and graham cracker notes. Speaking of graham cracker, there’s a MASSIVE amount of it, almost vanilla-tinged and even allowing a bit of dank hoppiness to meld with it (limeskin, moss, wet grass). Sounds like it may be gross, but everything balances and there’s no resin or aspirin flavor and it goes down very nicely/easily. If it wasn’t for that nose.....
