On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy orange with medium frothy white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat and orange peel. Medium mouth, citrus, wheat, lemon zest, crushable, very good.

Tap into a shot glass showing opaque orange and no head. The nose shows some brett with dry tangerines. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied. Flavors of light malt and not much else.

On tap at The Ginger Man, NYC. Almost clear in the glass, golden in color and with a creamy, finger thick off-white head leaving lacings on top. The aroma is nice indeed, but almost as far from complex as possible. More or less just grapefruit and some peach. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, besides that it’s just the grapefruit and peach known from the flavor, and a wee hint of pepper. It’s smooth and nicely carbonated, semi-dry, and with a lasting fruity finish. Supposedly a farmhouse pale ale, whatever that might be, but to me it’s more like a regular IPA. Sure nice though. 150624

Draught @ The Ginger Man, New York, NY
Pours hazy deep golden with a long lasting off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, yeast and herbal. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty, citrus and slightly peppery finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

The Gingerman, NYC tap: pours copper to gold with a foamy head. Fruit sugar and yeast. Taste is moderately bitter with real farmhouse elements. Kind of dry. Not bad but not all that crazy.

Draught. Slightly cloudy bright orange with medium sized off-white creamy head, floral hops aroma, balanced hoppy taste, medium carbonation, longish finish with hops flavor on the palate. Very refreshing.

Hefig hopfiger Antrunk, dunkel malzig, zunehmend heller werdend. Etwas brotig, spritzig, zum Ende allerdings recht trocken. Wenig grasig, dennoch rund. 11/11/11/11//11

Draft at the brewery. Pours lightly cloudy gold with a foamy white head. Super drinkable, fresh and fairly pithy. Lightly resinous with juicy grapefruit and tangerine. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Clean on the finish, moderately dry, with more vibrant citrus fruits and pithy grapefruit. Excellent.
