Kibble and charcoal nose. Black, thick creamy tan head, nice retention. Charcoal, raisin hints. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Draught. Dark brown with reddish tint, small spongy beige head, caramel coffee aroma, bitter coffee beans taste, thin body, medium carbonation, long bitter finish. Pretty standard stout.

Draft at alewife. Pours black with brown head. Nose and taste of heavy roast barley, roast chocolate, charred oats and burnt coffee. Dry bitter coffee finish. Medium body.

Tap at the Stagshead. Pours black with large head. Nose of roasted malt and coffee. Tastes of malt, coffee, toast, char, herbal, and dark chocolate, pretty hoppy and bitter.

Draught, 6.1%. Coffee-like aroma, a little sweet. Black colour, small stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted, has a little coffee. Some roast barley bitterness. A bit of alcohol which also gives it an OK solid mouthfeel.
