32 oz growler at the RateBeer DC tasting. Poured a dark brown color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, slightly sweet. Some oat notes, light creamy character. Chocolate, caramel. Not bad, but a bit much on such a hot day.

Growler at the RateBeer DC tasting. Dark brownish. Aromas of malt, cocoa, caramel. Tastes of malt, cocoa, caramel. Medium body with a dry finish.

32oz growler from Shoreline, pours a watery dark brown/black with a ring of white head. Nose has grist, toast, mild chocolate, a little coffee. Flavor is better, chocolate, rootbeer, malt, molasses, a little cinnamon heat on the end. Medium bodied.

Clear dark brown bod thin off wht head. Vanilla, toffee coffee choc arma. Toffee, choc, coffee flav. Med bod mod low carb. 7/4/7/3/15 3.6

Some roast and chocolate. A little off like an exit ramp. Hazy brown pour with ok head. A little sour. Growler.

Draught. Dark brown with small beige foamy head, caramel-malt aroma, bitter roasted malt-mocha taste, low carbonation, bit of cinnamon and possibly nutmeg as well. Long bitter finish. Very nice seasonal.
