Clear golden coloured body with a faint copper hue with a thin off-white head. Aroma of grass, hay, yeast, light metal and a nice fresh hop kick that’s fairly minimal. Light-bodied; Strong grassy flavour at first with a herbal kick and a touch of bananas and very little else. Aftertaste shows some herbs, grass, hay and not much more except for a hint of a metallic twang. Overall, a pretty uninspiring beer with a little hint of grass, hay and hops and not much complexity at all. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Fair Lakes (Fairfax), Virginia on 16-February-2016 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 29-April-2016.

Mild cardamom nose. Clear amber, thin head. Malt, cardamom and nutmeg. Medium body, harsh mouthfeel. Odd spices for the style.

Cityfresh, Bushwick growler: pours orange with a white head. Aroma is plenty of spice and bright fruitiness. Taste is a bit sweet and spicy. Def a saison in taste. Not bad.

Pours a dark orange. aroma is spicy, light, some bread qualities and I guess holiday spice. Taste is rough. too much holiday spice here. Sweet, spicy, too much for me.

Smooth and slick, lots of holiday spice, more sweet than savory. Slippery mouth feel overall, , flavorful, rich, but light in body and experience.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a large foamy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of nutmeg, other spices, chestnuts, bready malt. The taste is eggnog spices, nuts, bready malt. Medium bodied, high carbonation, mild lingering spice. Solid.

Pours ruby tinged gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Sour pomegranate aromas. Sharp with metallic sour fruit and vegetables front to back.

Draught. Dark amber with small foamy beige head that dissipated immediately, light hops aroma, fizzy with sweetish taste, medium finish with slight bitterness at the end. Easy to drink but nothing memorable about it.
