Bottle. A- Grains, corn, apple. A- Golden color, hazy liquid, white head. T- Grains, slightly sweet, mild apple tones, mild bitterness. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp smooth finish. O- Surprisingly decent. The sapphire hops in this are used well. A very drinkable beer.

Part of a mix sixer at Albertsons in Vegas. Pours a very light golden colour with a frothy white head, decent retention and some foamy lacing. The nose is pretty horrible though. Bad veggies, adjuncts, crap water. The taste isn’t much better with fake malts and mild sweetness in the finish. Maybe the normal Beck’s is not the best beer, but it sure is much better than this piece of poo. This is terrible that they want A-B to produce this for them, with their name on it. Beautiful black bottle and label. Thankfully nice to look at.

Average (well, less than average) lager. Don’t be fooled by the Beck’s name, it’s Bud. This was also brewed in Germany, and probably better. Weak aroma and taste, dull appearance, another weak North American pale lager.

Bottle. It’s a clear one, golden in color and topped by a diminishing white head. Cooked vegetables, pale malts and a fruity touch in the aroma. Some bitterness in the flavor, but not much. Pale malts, green apples and some cooked vegetables. Rather thin on the palate, pleasant carbonation. Short and sweetish finish. I feel no need to repeat this one either. 130804

Beck’s by Bud. Bottle. Pours with a clear golden hued body with a moderately large white head that slowly fades. Aromas are of soggy, bland malt, and a very light fruity and lightly grassy hop note. Extremely clean fermentation. Flavors are lightly toasty, medium malty. On the sweet side and lacking crispness. Hardly any bitterness. Mild fruity hop character, but not much. Really inoffensive, but not a great lager to drink. By no means a drain pour. Lightly slick on the tongue, medium to light body with a neutral to sweet finish.

Real Light Yellow, Small Head, Little Lacing. A couple of shockers (at Least to me) right off the bat. I guess, something along the lines of Pavlov’s Conditioning laws, black bottle and black can made me think, that just like Guinness it will be a dark beer. This one looks more like a Corona. Another shocker came upon closer label inspection: Made in St. Louis, MO by Budweiser. There goes Imported German Beer part.... Sweet Corn Taste, barely noticeable hop finish, While my knowledge of Bud products is limited, this one looks like a Bud, tastes like a Bud, but is a little less carbonated, therefore smoother and easier to drink. Knowing what it is and where it is coming from, it is an 0K thirst quencher. Nothing premium , northing really bad.

From a black bottle this beer is light pale lager. Metallic aroma. Some cheap ice beer feel to it. A little course for a pale lager. Stronger than most in this range. Yes, ice. Perhaps approaches malt likkah, eh? Metallic aroma lingers near the top of the beer. Not as refeshing as expected.
