Sample at Haandfest 2019. Almost clear golden body with a nice white head. Aroma is fresh and fruity with oak, acid and a bit vinous. Flavor is sour citric fruit, grapes, oak, acid and funky. Fine body and nice aftertaste. Like a mix of a sour beer and barrel aged white wine.

Corked and caged 750ml bottle from the LCBO. Pours a slightly cloudy gold, with a large, lacy white head. A big, pungent blast of wet hay, and funk hit you right off the bat. Within there is some lemon zest, malted wheat, white wine, and earthy, semi sweet oak notes. mouthfeel is very lively, and crisp. Semi dry, vinous, and finishes incredibly sour. The chardonnay is a bit lost, there are notes of vinous white grapes, and oak, but they are subtle, the funky, lactic, lambic style flavours dominate.

From tap at BeerTemple, Amsterdam. Aroma is vinous with white grapes, wood, fruits, white wine, some citrus, and funky notes. Puckering sourness with sweet tones, but not as intensely sour as I've come to expect from Cascade. Good!

2015 draught at Tip Tap Room, 6/10/22. Clear brass with some deeper copper tints. Small, off-white head shows moderate retention. Incredibly aromatic nose, especially given the cold temperature of the draught pour. Big honey, rich, but not punchy/heavily tannic oak, tons of fruitiness from yeast/bacteria. Good acidity but even and tempered from age, showing no aggression. Soft, rich malts and well-integrated grapes add complexity without dominating. No alcohol or flaw noted. Incredibly rich combination of malt and oak, but no tannin. Just all flavor with tons of rich yellow and red fruit and plentiful vanilla. Honey, pomelo, passion fruit...almost like a glass of sparkling sauternes (the malt seems to deepen the grape sweetness, lending the more late harvest semillon character over the actual chardonnay used). Pretty f-in' phenomenal. Just exquisite balance and incredible aromatics and flavors throughout.

Clear golden colour with no head. There's a subtle note of wood. The sharpness is moderate and the typical Cascade tang is subdued. There's a residual grape sweetness which is slightly too dominant considering it's from Cascade.

Pours amber with a large quickly fading head.Flavours include elderflower, grape notes, lemon rind, Kiwi fruit, soft funk.Flavours include more elderflower and lemon rind, more funk, and a fairly aggressive but not overwhelming acidity. Later on a big Chardonnay note comes through.
