Creamy French oak, sour nose with some marmalade. Medium body, a very light for 9.1%. Good white wine barrel character. Low carbonation with some fruitiness. White wine and barrel linger. Nice but not outstanding

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 21 Feb 2018) Deep golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, slightly sourish nose with sour grapes, citrus and a touch of barnyard. Fruity, tart, slightly vinous taste with notes of grapes, citrus, grapefruit, green apples and a tart, slightly vinous, finish with low bitterness. More than medium body, with a just a touch of sweetness. Interesting and quite tart. Quite nice.

750 c&c from Craft Shack. Pours translucent brassy gold with a transient white head. Aroma is spritely fruity with a possible touch of sulfur. Pleasing aroma. Med body at least. It’s definitely tart, has some wood notes, and there’s clearly white grape and mixed fruits. Fruits are arguably tropical, but I can’t get the apple. Going well with a soft white cheese. Somewhat, but not very, acidic. Good stuff.

On tap at Cascade, pours a clear golden blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out lots of white wine barrels, with gentle acidity. Flavour is vinous and acidic, with white wine barrels, aggressive acidity and white grapes. Vinous and acidic, with a bone dry finish. Nice stuff.

On tap at Republic. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that starts at the edges and dissipates completely. Aroma has a dry white wine note with sour grapes supporting. Flavor has sour grape with a touch of acid and dry white wine backing.
