On tap. Pours black with light head. Aromas of marshmallows, dusty chocolate, vanilla, and slick roasted malts. Big flavors follow same with lots of toasted marshmallows. A bit of alcohol in the flavor to finish but otherwise the 15% is not really noticeable and beer is almost syrupy smooth. Neat.

Draft @ Café Pardaf. Pitch black, creamy beige foam. Lots of cocoa and vanilla, liquid pancakes, some coffee notes. Very sweet, lots of pastry. Don't like it.

Tap at Valhalla Prague. Basically black. Fantastic cocoa + vanilla aroma, without much coffee in evidence. Creamy taste, cocoa and vanilla dominate at first, though some malty notes and oxidation does come up, very light coffee at best. And as it warms it gets boozy, the alcohol is almost medicinal at times, weird as Amager usually handles that better. Overall - quite good, but not my favorite Amager impy.

Jet black with a decent beige head. Vanilla and chocolate, maybe too much vanilla. So much vanilla and chocolate. Coffee is in the background. Vanilla overpowers this beer.

On tap @ Ghetto Something. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate and caramel. Pours pitch black color with thin creamy light brown head and fair lacing. Taste starts with sweet roasted malt and chocolate, follows by liquorice, spices and vanilla, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Fire, walk with me…

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg, on Øllets Dag 2020. Pours cloudy coffee brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of coffee and chocolate, with touches of malt. Sweet flavour of lactose, chocolate and malt, with touches of yeast and fruit. Bitter aftertaste of alcohol and roast, with malty notes. Decent but a little too boozy for my taste. I love the style but I see no need to booze itbup for nothing.
