Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans... and put them in one vessel.
The beans of bygone brewers, united with cacao and coffee, to create a trinity of roasted, rich, and savory flavors.

Can from my brother. Dark brown pour with small silky beige head. Chocolate leads the aroma, then roast grains, then some vanilla. Taste integrates all the flavors beautifully, mildly sweet, bourbon notes bubbling underneath. Not boozy at all. Smooth.

Draught @ Albion. Murky dark brown with small creamy beige head, very faint roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter mocha/roasted malt taste with faint alcohol undertones. somewhat thick body, long finish with faint alcohol aftertaste. A good brew.

330mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out earthy coffee beans, with light cocoa and a hint of vanilla. Flavour brings out notes of coffee, light cocoa and vanilla. Earthy coffee and vanilla on the finish, with medium sweetness. Very good.

12oz can thanks to Toby. Pours out a dark brown topped with a tan head. Nose tons of coffee beans and roast malts. Taste is as the nose with a heavy coffee front a nice chocolate and a good roast on the end.

Rcvd in trade. Reviewed from notes.
The appearance has a dark brown/almost black body with a three finger white foamy head rises and falls leaving some speckled foamy spider web lacing and is fairly clingy.
The smell has some dark coffee up front with a slight chocolate in the background.
The taste is sweet and bitter at different times through the coffee and chocolate. Sticky bitter aftertaste and finishes slightly dry.
On the palate, it sits about a light to medium, comes across fairly sessionable despite where the ABV is. Carbonation seems just right to me and for the style.
Overall, this is a pretty good Baltic Porter.

Skinny can from Harvest. Pours black, almost cola-like, into the pint glass, HUGE head that took awhile to dissipate before I could finish the pour, big sticky lacing on the glass. Aroma of burnt coffee beans, toffee, some vanilla, taste is ashy, burnt toast plus the coffee. Not the best I’ve had, seems like they were trying to do too much here. Unbalanced flavors that didn’t work well together.

Draught@RNH. Dark amber-brown color, good creamy brownish head. Light milk chocolaty aroma. Medium-bodied. Sweetish flavor. Chocolate, caramalt, cocoa, light ashy toastyness. Quite easy drinking for this ABV. Certainly more a porter than a stout.
