Can thanks to Dean! Pours a clear deep amber brown with a grayish brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has a combination of sweet chocolate and coffee with a bit of dark grains and roasted malts. Flavor starts with roasted malts and coffee with a bit of sweet chocolate coming out in the finish.

Tall, skinny can: Pours deep, cloudy brown with a foamy tan head. Aroma is nutty-coffee, malt, wood. Taste is roasty, coffee-heavy.....nice bittering...creamy, malty. Very, very nice porter.

This brew pours dark brown with a medium foamy tan head that dissipates slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted coffee and malt in the nose. Medium to full body with a strong coffee flavor and notes of chocolate malt and hops. The finish is roasty with a lingering roasty espresso aftertaste. Good beer for coffee lovers all around.

Can. Dark chocolate, earthy coffee,and light alcohol aroma - a bit like a sweet creamy cafe mocha. Deep mahogany with an extremely large creamy tan head, nice lacing. Sweet and bitter baker’s chocolate, earthy coffee, and a roasty charred bitter finish. Medium to full body, very soft carbonation.

12 ounce can. Translucent dark brown color with deep red highlights. Small creamy beige head with lovely clinging Belgian lace. Rich roasted malt aroma has notes of dark roasted coffee and chocolate. Flavor of strong French Roast coffee and dark baker’s chocolate. Lot’s of bitter hops as well. This is a beer to sip slowly and savor. It’s that big!

300th New York rating! 12 ounce can from Wine Warehouse Charlottesville. Pours a clear dark red-brown color with a large frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of cocoa, coffee and a roasty, almost ashy note. The taste is intense coffee, bitter chocolate, roast. Pretty boozy. Medium bodied. Toned back a bit, this could be good, but as of now it’s a bit of a mess.
