Full-bodied, very hoppy, with citrus, pine, fruity notes and a nice dry, bitter finish!

Odense Beer & Ball Saturday - Real Madrid vs. Valladolid. BB Oct. 2013 :( Golden with a lasting white head. Big citrus aroma, with lots of lime peel and grapefruit. Dry malty flavour with big citrus hop character. It’s obviously a world class IPA, but just as obviously this bottle is too old. I’ll rate it somewhat low (compared to what I expect from a fresh Blind Pig) for now and revisit ASAP

Tap on Saturday afternoon. what a great surprise to be walking around and find this in NYC. pours yellow orange and is one of nicest smelling ipas ive encountered. Tons of juicy citrus on the nose begging you to dive right in. tastes of big old grapefruit, some oranges, pine, light caramel malt, peppery, and ginger. touch harsh on palate but pretty great

Tap at the Falling Rock Tap House, Denver. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head and lots of carbonation. The aroma is weak malt with some hoppy notes. The flavour is medium bitter with a big liqourice hop spicy palate. A classic IPA but far from the best. I look at some of the existing ratings and as much as I like this beer I don’t see that it justifies such a high rating.

On tap at Belmont Station, Portland, Oregon, USA. A golden coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus aroma. Tastes hoppy, citrus, pine, quite bitter. Too harsh for me but clearly a well made IPA.
