Just a little bit to high carbonation level. Other wise very fine and tasty beer. Fine beige head that leaves a fine lacing. Ok intensity in the aroma. Pleasant bitterness and a fine tai. Roast, coffee, licorice and pine cones in the flavor.

Bottle split at CBC Islington, thanks to Leighton, 17/10/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a beige cap. Nose is charr, pine, spice, light roast. Taste comprises mellow roast, pine, red berry notes, straw, burnt toffee, cocoa powder. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with dusty hop bitterness. Decent enough CDA.

Bottle shared at CBC Islington, 17/10/2018. Many thanks. A murky dark brwon coloured pour with a lasting loose dark tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, dark malts, pear. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, jammy, woody , pine, plastic, frothy. Plate is pithy, drying, frothy carbaontion, , bark, bitter roast. Interesting one.

Bottle shared in London - sourced via trade. Pours deep and unclear brown with a foamy tan head. Pretty tasty, has some dark berries, cherry, chalky cocoa, earth, ash. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly warming finish, nice bittersweet cocoa, raspberry and dried cherry, more earth and ashy roast. Solid.

Craft Islington. Bottleshare. Thanks to LKS. Opaque dark brown - black beer, good tan head. Airy dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dark creamy malts, whisper of bitterish dark chocolate underneath. Little plummy berry fruits. Smooth dry finish. Not bad, fluffy but dry, tasty but bitter.
