Bottle shared in London - cheers to Jakob. Pours unclear brown with a creamy, khaki head. Not bad, some strong ashy roast, bitter coffee, dark chocolate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Bitter finish, ashy, more baking cocoa. So so.

Level 6 bottleshare. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft dry dark malts, little dry cream. Dry spice. Twangy dark fruits. Light dry spicy bitter finish. Does not strike me as particular royale.
