(Bottle, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 8 Oct 2022) Dark brown colour, with hints of ruby. Brief tan head. Malty, vinous nose with caramel, dried fruit and candy sugar. Malty taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, prunes, raisins and a sweet and vinous finish with a gentle spicy bitterness. Almost full body, quite sweet. Tasty and vinous, but a bit metallic and unrefined. Still, quite nice.

Flaska från SB, vintage 2016. Bäst före 2018-12-05, så nästan ett år passerat därefter. Klar, något mörkare bärnstens/kopparfärgad med smutsvit krona som lägger sig. Torkad frukt, maltsötma, russin, fylliga toner av dessert- och portvin, kanderade apelsinskal, nästan lite inslag av likör och likörpralin med snygga ålderstecken i avslutningen. Inslag av oxidering och gammal kartong i alldeles lagom mängd. Mjuk, fin och balanserad. Väldigt klassisk i brittisk tappning. Lagring tycks ha gjort den väl. Gott.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear amber, rich fizzy head. Apricots, mirabelles and toffee up front. Mid sweet with near full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel and prunes, some butterscotch. Honey, dust and white pepper in the finish. Interesting and rather harmonious.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in March 2017. Almost clear light amber with a small head. Sweetish with dried fruit, some bread and orange. The body was almost full and the bitterness relaxed. Warming alcohol in the finish.
