(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2017) Hazy golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, slightly tart nose with citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit and biscuits. Fruity, hoppy taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, lemon peel, bread, grass and a balanced citric bitterness in a dry finish. Medium body, quite dry. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice. (Rating 9000)

Flaska från SB. Smak och doft av citrus, örter, jäst, tall och gräs. Fruktig, lätt kropp, något ojämn, mycket kolsyra, tydlig beska med smak av citrusskal.

(330ml bottle from Systembolaget web order) Pours a very lightly hazed yellow-gold with a big white head that fades to a cap with lace, and a load of active bubbles. Nose is quite spicy, herbal and yeasty - notes of hay, dried flowers, herbs, savoury pepper, light elderflower, a little citrusy, touches of esters, wheat cracker. Flavour is almost bone dry from the outset and heavily herbal, the character of the herbs is towards medicinal, with more dried flowers, grass, bitter citrus pith, lightly sweet citrus, yeast, light esters. Metallic bitterness in the finish. Harsh finish, without much malt development, soap and yeast in the back end. Light body, fairly high frothy carbonation. Smells decent but it’s not particularly pleasant to drink, the finish being a bit of a struggle. Much less pleasant than the Citra Saison was.

Flaska från SB. Doft med saisonjäst, tallskott, citrus, örter, gräs och resin. TOrr och krispig men framförallt tufft humlad saison där saisonkarktären överröstas av en kantig beska med resin och vitrusvita vilket kroppen är för tunn för att bära. Väl rå och obalanserad men ändå ok och drickbar.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Hazy golden, small head. Peppery nose with elderflowers and hay. Dry with light-medium body and clean, hard mouthfeel. Marzipan, hay and elderflowers before a sharp aluminium finish. Edgy and sterile malt character ruins the beer.
