Bottle 50 cl. Pours a dark, nutty brown with an orange hue and a creamy and lacing, beige head. Faint biscuity aroma. Medium body, slightly dusty with a hint of caramel and sufficient hops. Harmless and quenching. 170126

(Bottle, taster, Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 3 Dec 2021) Reddish brown colour with foamy, tan head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of caramel, dark bread, red fruit and toast. Malty taste with dark bread, caramel, toast, wort and a mild spicy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Flaska från en vän. Mahognyfärgad vätska med ett tunt skum. Svag doft av karamell. Smakar även lätt av karamell. Har även ett tråkigt inslag av rå säd i eftersmaken. För söt i avslutet.

Bottle from Systembolaget, e-order in December 2016. Clear amber with a small head. Aroma of malt, caramel, some rye bread and hints of dried fruit. Similar taste. The body was around medium as was the bitterness. An ok one.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Amber colour, minor head. Aroma is sweet ripe fruitiness along with some toffee and mild rye notes. Flavour is nutty, some grainy and mild toasted notes. Sweetish aftertaste. Something like a hybrid between Dunkel and Schwarz.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Clear mahogany colour, small head. Toasty nose with a slight touch of perfumy citrus. Mid sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Toasty and spicy. Mid bitter finish. Solid, quite traditional but lacking depth.
