Svart med beige skum. Lukter søt engelsk lakris, havre og nøtter. Middels fylde. Noe søt lett bitter, noe salt i avslutningen. Nøtter, ristet brød og lakris.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 7 Oct 2016) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate and roasted nuts. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, roasted malt, nuts and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty, well balanced and well made porter. Nice one.

Sample at SBWF 2016. Almost black with a small head. Aroma and taste of chocolate, dark malt, nuts and some caramel. The body was medium and the bitterness was rather soft.

Keg at Gripsholms Slottspaviljong, Mariefred. Dark brown, small creamy head. Aroma of coffee, treacle and walnuts. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Toffee, coffee and a mild touch of walnuts. Low bitterness.
